data-mm-id=”_qhdcfcwsd”>Draymond Green was ejected Tuesday night for essentially punching Jusuf Nurkic in the face. It was yet another ugly incident that marred a really good game in which the Phoenix Suns beat the Golden State Warriors 119-116. After the game, Green discussed the incident and his excuse for hitting Nurkic was, quite frankly, ridiculous. Here's the highlight of what happened:Draymond has been ejected after flagrant foul on Nurkić pic.twitter.com/RmrLU5tdw8— Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) December 13, 2023And here is what Green tried to say caused him to do it:Draymond Green apologies to Jusuf Nurkic:"I didn't intend to hit him. I sell calls with my arms… I'm not a flopper." https://t.co/fJocJ69RcN pic.twitter.com/RiJyoL6wcT— Oh no he didn't (@ohnohedidnt24) December 13, 2023That's just hilarious. Does he think anyone will buy this? He claims he just wildly swung his arms to try and get a foul call, but he just so happened to wheel around and deck Nurkic in the side of his head. Right. The fact that he looked completely annoyed while spinning around to make contact I'm sure is just a coincidence. No one should take this seriously. I think it's likely Green is facing a lengthy suspension from the NBA, especially since it's been less than a month since he put Rudy Gobert in a chokehold.

During a recent interview with Sportbladet, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp laughed off the idea that the club would try to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic following his departure from LA Galaxy. The international break may be seen as a pointless exercise for many, but when you’ve got two of the best international teams in world football competing against one another, it doesn’t really matter whether or not it’s a friendly. Between 2008 and 2014 these nations won two World Cups and two European Championships between them, and they seem to be just getting started.

According to a recent report from over in Italy, AC Milan want to confirm the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic during the club’s 120th anniversary celebrations on December 15. There has been a great deal of speculation as to where the popular Swede would end up, but now, it seems like a virtual guarantee that it’ll be Italy where he is playing his football next season.
If he is to rejoin Milan then his 18-month contract would almost certainly contain some form of break clause for the end of the season, which could potentially be activated if his return doesn’t go particularly well.
It seems as of Milan are covering all bases in the event of Ibra coming to town, because as we all know, he isn’t exactly the most predictable of players in the world.

Thiago Alcantara has refused to rule out a return home to Barcelona at some stage in his career, although the midfielder insists he is happy at Bayern Munich.
Born in Italy to Brazilian parents, Thiago joined Barcelona at the age of 14, progressing through the club s famed youth ranks to make his first-team debut in 2009.

Josep Maria Bartomeu s ultimately unpopular tenure as Barcelona president has finally come to an end after the club s entire board resigned.
Barca won the treble in his first full season in charge in 2014-15, led by the thrilling front three of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez.
But it seems unlikely Bartomeu s time as the top man at Camp Nou will be remembered for that success.
Barca subsequently suffered humiliation after humiliation in the Champions League, reaching a remarkable crescendo with August s 8-2 quarter-final demolition at the hands of eventual champions Bayern Munich.
However, it was Bartomeu s failings in the transfer market that helped put the Catalan giants in such a position.
While Neymar left and then Lionel Messi pushed for…
